About Me


In January 2007, the Extra Medium crew put together an eclectic Wednesday night weekly social for San Francisco. Since half our roster of DJ's are from the LA area, we're proud to rep a strong BAY 2 LA connection. This Fall/Winter, we're proud to bring aboard DJ Ant Marshall, co-founder of the world-famous and influential Lyricist Lounge from NYC. We're proud to bring you DJ's that can contribute different "ears" from LA 2 SF 2 NYC. We also bring in additional local DJ's, emcees, painters, designers, and other artists to encompass the best Hip Hop, Soul, 80's Gems, and DanceHall vibes to keep all of us movin' (and drankin'). We throw in a little of everything artistic and fun... From art shows to live bands, fundraisers to guest emcees, check out our bulletins & blogs to keep updated on any special events.
