About Me

The nation's premier presenter of contemporary and tribal Pilipino arts

KULARTS (Kulintang Arts Inc.) was founded in 1985 to inform and expand the understanding of American Pilipino culture through works that address contemporary issues in our community; to preserve the spirit and integrity of ancient Pilipino art forms through research, education and documentation; and to nurture the artistic development of Pilipino American artists.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

folks down for ancient, tribal, island, cutting-edge, post-modern, inter/multi-disciplinary, performance based, community strengthening art forms...

Music:

from the tribalistic to the futuristic. we're really feelin' origin-ill music, you know, the kind that makes the poet dance and the dancer bust freestyle rhymes.
