B I O G R A P H YKAMANDAG is a filipino rock band based in the San Francisco Bay Area. KAMANDAG is an offshoot of a band formerly known as Brimstone. As Brimstone, the band was rocking the bay area spearheaded by the two brothers JHUN and JHING. On October 2003, the band underwent a transformation and has to replace their guitarist. DENNIS was tapped to play the guitar. The band's first venture with the new line up was at Vallejo, CA when they opened for the US tour of RiverMaya, a pinoy pop band. Afterwhich they renamed the group KAMANDAG. 2004...BILLY ROBBINS decided to leave the group after recording 4 songs for our 1st album. And then JHING VIRAY took over the part for the vocalist which then made him as the bassist n the lead vocalist of the group. Guitarist MARCO SANTOS joined KAMANDAG shortly after the completion of the cd BASAG NA SALAMIN. 2008...While fixing the second album DENNIS LIWAG (guitarist) decided to quit the band for him to pursue a higher level of his career. Though it was a sudden decision the band had to lay low and finally decided to maintain the group. The 3 remaining members now are making new songs for their second album.
