Failure was formed in June 2005 from the ashes of several Batangas City bands and is made up of four members including guitarist Patrick, vocalist Sam, bassist Francis, and John on drums. Their style, while often defying description, consists of many recognizable musical forms including a heavy dose of hardcore and metal along with modicums of punk, screamo and other genres. That being said, they are influenced by a multitude of sources composed largely of hardcore and experimental artists.
Their five-song EP CD entitled Death is Just the Beginning was release on March 2006 under Avoid Fate Records. A set of four that shriek out their style of ear-splintering aggressive sound, Failure is constantly pushing the envelope of writing songs that deal with sentiment, despondency, solitude, and pain. Currently rehearsing in their hometown, their goal is to mend their influences and style to form an original music and help strengthen and unify the Bay City area music scene together with other local bands. Failure is also playing shows around the area and near-by zone.
Failure is included in the 4-way split CD entitled "Fear the Elements" with awesome hardcore bands hailing from other countries. They are End is Forever | Germany, John Doe | Poland, and Loyal to the Grave | Japan. Out now under Village Kids Records from Germany.
