HEARTBURN PRODUCTION ETYMOLOGY:
Not the stomach disease of course. inspired by jack nickolson's and meryl streep's 1986 movie HEARTBURN. Heartburn literally means tearing one's heart and putting your soul into fire. It is about heat, burn and the fifth element... love.
HEARTBURN HISTORY:
Started last December 2, 2005. We had our first gig at Nightwish Bar, Adriatico Manila. Helped by some friends such as Andrew of Anathema Prod and Reia of D2R Prod and lead vocalist of jpop inspired band Ethereal Anthem, Heartburn continues to strive and helped bands to have a comfortable avenue for their talent and to have their exposure, not just by sharing good music but also by gaining friends and boost their self esteem through friends.
HOUSE RULES:
+ We have a calltime [unahan sa slot]
+ Bands should meet the requirement
+ We are not a ticket selling production, what we request for bands to do is too easy (they can just bring their friends) *no man is an island ok? losers are they who cant have the guts to bring their friends to watch for them :]
+ We're strict on guesting requirement because what we do in the production in NOT EASY and the money we put during the preparation were never a JOKE.
+ For those who hates us because they think that we made this as a business, Well,as a matter of fact, THIS IS A BUSINESS, if you cant put it in your FEEBLE mind.
+ Think.
+ We're not SNOB. We're cute ;]
YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT:
+ First come first serve basis on performance time slot
+ We required bands to bring minimum of 5 guests ( depends on the bar that we're renting )
+ The gig usually starts @ 8pm and ends @ 3pm
+ Calltime usually starts @ 5 - 6pm
+ We don't accept walk in bands
+ We accept any genre of rock
+ The entrance fee ranges from P80 - 100 w/ free beer (depends on the bar that we're renting )
+ The band can play 3-4 songs ( it depends on how many bands are in the line up )
+ Guests bands are VIPS ( meaning, the production are paying them, or sometimes they are generous enough to play free, they can select their slot w/o meeting the time slot, they have to chance to play 4-5 songs )
