Shots Of Red Mist is a band who formed in 2002 in Laguna whose stated purpose is to bridge the gap between entertainment and activism; first and foremost, that's our goal.
Shots Of Red Mist would not exist were it not for their main influence from the rock/rap group RATM for their political awareness and activism, and it is an integral part of the band.
SORM was about generating social conciousness, involvement and fighting for change.The "red mist" in question can be defined as the people that are/is fighting for a change.Their music was a revolutionary combination of heavy rock and hip hop, with jazz and punk elements.
