Je suis un batteur de la région de Montréal et natif de la ville d'alma au Lac st-jean. J'ai commencé la batterie à l'âge de 3 ans. La musique c'est ma vie... j'adore en joué en écouter et la vivre... J'adore tous ce qui groove; que ce soit du Rock, jazz, latin, funk , R&B ... si ça groove c'est mon buzz. J'aime les gens qui jasent avec leur instrument... j'adore rencontrer des gens et apprendre d'eux. Donc, arrêtez me dire un p'tit bonjour... Eric ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------- Eric is 29 years old. He began to play drums at three and received his first kit at five. He started lessons at seven and joined a band at ten. While in school, he played various symphony orchestras, including a tour in Europe and a locally produced recording. He played for various artists in Quebec. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------- Since then he played with bands of different styles, including Funk, Swing, Latin, Progressive, Hip-Hop, Hard Rock, R&B, Jazz, Alternative, etc... He focus on versatility and musicality. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ He is holder of a bachelor in music performance from Concordia University and he also has a Diploma (D.E.C.) performance degree in Alma College in music. Modern drummer made mention of his young career in issue december 1998-1999-2000 and Drum! Magazine also in 1999-2000-2004-2005-2006 and Drum etc... Magazine in 1999-2000-2003-2004. November 1999, he played in the Montreal Drumfest (Yamaha Rising Stars Showcase). Eric made the cover story of DRUMS ETC magazine in Canada March / april 2007. Eric is now endorse by REMO, MEINL and DW drums. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------- worked as teacher In many differents school. He has some projects running in Province of Quebec, Canada and United states. He gives master classes and percussions workshops around the country. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------- Eric did a 3 years tour with the show CAVALIA (www.cavalia.net), more than 500 shows and more than 1 300 000 tickets sold. You can get the Cavalia album in every stores. He also had the chance to play with some big name like: Michel Cusson, John Patitucci, Alex Acuna, Michel Donato, François D'amours, Ronald Di Lauro, Muhammed Abdul Abkhabyyr, Bruce Foster, Julie Lamontagne, John Beasley and many more... He also worked at the Famous ''Sound city'' in Los Angeles CA as a studio drummer with Some artists.
