LET US KNOW AND WE'LL WORK IT OUT..... The Affiliation SUBSTRUCTURE was created in 2002 by Michael Pichette a.k.a. DjMikelPanda. The Name was first implemented at BUZZ in Washington, DC when Mike was asked by John Tab of Buzzlife to host the Patio for the evening of August 23rd, 2002. At the time, Mike didn't have a Crew to represent the Affiliation so He asked legendary DC House Dj, Ivan G, Eden of 4 Twenty 4, and Diaspora to perform with him as a Group. The night was a total success and as time went on, SUBSTRUCTURE was the Affiliation that Mike carried at every performance..... In 2006, Mike asked the current Members to be a part of the Group based on each individuals personality, positive spirits, and motivation towards putting on Events wherever they could. Now, in 2007, we strive to make a difference in our world as individuals and as a Group to bring you memorable Events that will always represent this Culture and Music proper with a more up close and personal approach. We are personable people and will talk to you, we will give you the time of day where so many others that Promote or Dj Events DO NOT.....We will do this because we care and want to erase the ignorances surrounding this Music and Culture. We strive to educate,as well as learn and grow. We take this very seriously, while having fun in the process. We intend to reach out to all Humans, young and old to share this fantastic Music and Culture.
