| View | Add FavoriteMy name is Jessica or Jessie or Jess, whatever you are most comfortable with calling me. Most people call me Jess. Me, I am just a simple girl moving through life at a snails pace trying to take in as much as I can and experience as much as possible in this thing called life. I love music, dancing, being outdoors (mostly on the water or a boat, but anything outside will do), camping, catchin some rays, long road trips with good music to sing and scream at the top of my lungs (can't carry a note in a bucket) and most of all, I love being a mom. I have two sons, Connor who is 9 (soon to be 10 on Oct 24th) and Dawson who is 1 1/2 (turns 2 on Oct. 2nd). They are my heart and reason for being. There is just something so unbelievably satisfying about being a mom. The look in their eyes when they laugh at me is irreplacable. My family (mother, dad and younger brother) are also a major part of my life. My mother is my best friend. I can talk to her about anything. But I am still "Daddy's Little Girl" and will always be just that. My Dad is my rock. He has a way of keeping my feet planted on the ground. My younger, bigger brother, Jonathan is awesome. We didn't get along very well when we were younger but then he grew up and out of nowhere he was stronger then me and that's when everything turned around for the better. I don't like getting my face smashed in if you know what I mean :o) Just kidding....I love my brother very much. He has a huge heart of gold and the woman that he falls inlove with will be the luckiest lady ever. My friends as the best and mean a lot to me!!! They have always been there for me and I will always be there for them in any situation from being a shoulder to cry on, to go out with and dance the night away, to sit and have a cup of coffee with, to go shopping with, to listen and or to just chill and watch movies all night.

I'd like to meet:

I am a huge people person so I love meeting new, different and exciting people all the time. I can't say that there is one type of person I want to meet or not meet. Everyone is made up differently. There are a few things that bother me such as don't try too hard to impress me, don't agree with everything that I say, have a mind of your own and feel free to speak it even if I don't agree with it. Seeing things from another point of view is always good for the soul and the mind. Be yourself and not someone else. You have to be comfortable in your own skin. People who are as friendly as I am. Anyone that can start and hold a good conversation.

ANY and ALL MUSIC!!!! Books:

Right now I am reading the book by Teri Hatcher "Burnt Toast." It's basically a book about her life and the shortcomings she has gone through with her parents, her career, her ex-husband, her daughter, being raped and getting over her insecurites with herself and the way she sees her life in the past and the way she is able to look at it now. It's pretty good.

Heroes:

My Mom - she is my best friend and the greatest women I know that can take nothing and make something out of it.My Dad - he is my rock and keeps my feet on the ground and my head out of the clouds. But let's me dream all that I want. Also for not letting his dream of being with my mother get destroyed by my grandfather who didn't like him at first because he is part Japanese. My grandfather's brother was killed by a Japanese pilot in WWII so you imgiane how he felt when my mother brought him home to meet the parents. If it wasn't for his determination and love for my mother, I wouldn't be here today.Connor and Dawson (my 2 sons) - they keep me young and remind me how precious life really is. They teach new things everyday and I am so blessed to have them in my life.Jonathan (my brother) - for being the wonderful soul that he is and for putting up with all my crap when we were younger. And to think after all the fights we had, he still loves me and I love him very much. He is just a wonderful soul.
