Slim Lizzy formed in November, 2005 after Anthony McKeon, a professional guitarist from Dublin, Ireland, moved to Denver in search of a good band. There were many opportunities to join Denver..s music scene but after jamming with many bands, he didn..t find what he was looking for. Then he heard the voices...a chanting for Philo from all the repressed Thin Lizzy fans deprived of the music in Colorado. Anthony knew what he had to do. A Tribute to Lizzy.
After Anthony, came Scott, another professional guitarist who heard the call. Together they recreated the guitar legends of Lizzy and the album Live and Dangerous was resurrected.Next came Omny, the singer enchanted with a style all his own. After a long hiatus from music, Omny found his passion for singing renewed after finally getting to explore Lizzy's music in depth.
