My favorite is Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.Like to go to live gigs and stage musicals when I can. Love my sky plus planner, means I can watch when I like. Favorites are Greys Anatomy, ER, Cold Case,Stargate Atlantis,Desparate Houswives,Ugly Betty,House,Prime Suspect,Nip Tuck,and dare I say it Neighbours and Doctors,always sit down after lunch to watch these,sometimes sleep through them both though and have to hit the rewind.Also like The fast show repeats and League of Gentlemen. Am now into Ashes to Ashes, there's something about Philip Glenister, think he..s really sexy. Also love Heroes (when it comes back to our screens). Skins and Damages.

Love old movies, Garry Cooper, Gregory Peck, Steve McQueen,James Coburn,Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Wood, Jean Symmonds, Kirk Douglas (especially The Vikings),Howard Keel in any Musical, but best of all Seven Brides for seven Brothers,Gene Kelly. Loved The Shawshank Redemption. Dances with Wolves. Richard Gere in An Officer and a Gentleman.The Magnificent Seven. James Dean, Marlon Brando in Mutiny on the Bounty.Keanau Reeves in Lake House (loved this film) Bill and Ted both films. The Thomas Crown Affair. Carousel. Pirates of the Caribbean One and Two. Love Johnny Depp ( but who in this world does..nt) Anything by Nick Park, Love Wallace and Grommit, they really make me laugh. Laural and Hardy, and Abbot and Costello. Ice age One and Two, and of course Happy feet, could watch it over and over again, makes me feel happy !!! Love all the old movies they put on the telly at Christmas. Nothing like curling up by the Christmas tree, lighting the candles, and watching an old film.
Books:
When I am an old Woman I shall wear Purple with a Red Hat that doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my Pension on Brandy and Summer gloves and Satin sandles, and say we've no money for Butter.
I shall sit down on the Pavement when I'm tired and gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells.
And run my stick along the Public Railings and make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my Slippers in the rain and pick the Flowers in other peoples Gardens, and learn to spit.
You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat and eat three pounds of Sausages at a go,or only Bread and Pickle for a week.
And hoard Pens and Pencils and Beermats and things in boxs.
But now we must have Clothes that keep us dry and pay our Rent and not swear in the street.
And set a good example for the Children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.
But maybe I ought to practise a little now!
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised when suddenly I am old, and start to wear PURPLE.
