Jonas Backman

I'm a freelance pop/jazz drummer, born and bred in Finland, based in Manchester UK since 2002.I'm a current band member of the the Trio Whackabas, California Bums, Laura Beth Band, Rosie Brown Quartet, Disco Daze and Suzanne Mott Quartet. I've got my very first band project, too, that I call the Manchester Music Makers which is inspired by the traditional New Orleans Gospel, Soul and Funk but with a modern approach to it.In addition to this I do lots of freelance gigs spanning from traditional swing big bands to rock groups. I just love making music!
