I was one of the sound engineers at The Hub club in Bath, before it was closed down in 1997. I worked closely with the club's collection of music-obsessives, which kept my own passion for music production constantly charged.
When the Slalom label was launched in 1997, my 12" Juicy Fruit celebrated the end of the Hub era with bass, FX and techno funk rolling into Slalom's 001 release. I went on to release two more breaks EP's with Slalom: Liposuction (004) and Bleed (007). Adam Freeland included Liposuction on his much-hyped Tectonics CD compilation (Marine Parade) as well as his previous album Coastal Breaks.
I continue to work as a freelance engineer, working for several large PA companies including Capital Sound in London and Production Hire in Milton Keynes(which led to me engineering the main arena at the Sanctuary in Milton Keynes for the three years prior to its closure). I have engineered at some of the UKs largest dance events including: The Slinky arena tour, Slammin' Vinyl, North South, Accelerated Culture,Helter Skelter, Homelands and Creamfields. I have also engineered at V Festival and Glastonbury amongst many other events.I am currently working for USS in Cheltenham.Recently i have engineered The Fratelli's,The Automatic,The Blueskins and The Lightning seeds.
