!Imagine being raised in a household surrounded by music, a father who is a guitarist/singer, a mother who is ya dads groupie, the pressure of learning as many instruments as possible hoping one day to perform with ya dad. Well, combine this with working in a leading music store with some of Adelaide's Top DJs its hard not to be slightly curious about the wheels of steel. From an early age, I have collected and followed pop music that then progressed to dance music and to this day I still have so much respect and admiration for the "DJ". I have been a familiar face on the dance music scene for many years but my curiosity for the wheels of steel gave way about 3 years ago after a I landed myself some decks through lets just say a separation and then it was time to start learning! Until then I had always perceived Djing as a males calling until I realised that Djing was the next best step in expressing my passion for dance music. In my short time as a Shejay, I have supported and been on the same line up with a variety of top national and international DJs including: DJ AMBER SAVAGE(SYD), BEXTA(SYD), DJ CHIA (SYD), DJ NEROLI (BRIS), ARCHIE (SYD), MISS TRACEY (BRIS), TONITE ONLY (GROOVE TERMINATOR & PNAUs SAM LA MORE), STRETCH SILVESTER/SUCKER DJs (UK), MOBIN MASTER (ADEL/MELB) and DJ LUNA (SYD)and guest spots at high profile events such as the recent MINISTRY OF SOUND MASHED TOUR and massive New Years Eve event with DJ JUDGE JULES. Residencies include Adelaide's largest clubs along with Top local DJs at EARTH, HQ and on a smaller scale, regular stints at Ballroom Lounge/Pool Hall and private functions. I would describe my style as diverse but most of the time you can catch me playing electro-house, house, progressive, trance and basically anything thats phatt n Funky!!My long-term goal is to produce music and collaborate with other budding artists. When Im not playing, I try to get too as many events as possible and every now and then can be found at local Drum n Bass Events to support mates in that industry. I'm enjoying every moment of what I do through good times and bad - its all part of the experience. Please support me on this journey!
