Aquila Records is a new digital and vinyl record label based in the UK, created by Chris Rossi (Aquilaganja). The label’s main objective is to bring you the best selection of dance music from all around the world, ranging from deep chillout through to hardcore.Aquila Records has just been launched but is growing in strength all the time. Already we have DJs and Producers from all over the world which are sure to blow your mind with their skills both at the wheels of steel and also in the studio.If you are a DJ or producer and think you have a track or two that we might be interested in, please send them to us and we will be more than happy to help out in anyway we can.Many thanks!Chris Rossi (Aquilaganja)Chris Rossi aka "Aquilaganja" is an up and coming Dj and Producer from Glasgow, Scotland. He started mixing when he was 18yrs old with his chosen style being Hard Dance including such artists as; Tony De Vit, Lisa Lashes, Alex Calver, Anne Savage to name just a few.For the last 3 years Chris has been working hard to produce his own style of music with much success, working with the likes of Steff Smith (Twisted Audio), Alex Calver, Dj Lou Lou (Aus), Jesse Jaymes, Dj Agent Smith, G-Rex, Kit Mason and Dj Aim. Chris’s main style of music is Hard Dance but in the last year he has also started writing Electro, Chillout, Techno and Trance/Hard Trance.Aquilaganja & CalvertronLast year Chris and Alex worked together on a track called "Too Spicy" which has been released on the label 852 Recordings which is owned by the one and only Ricky Stone. The track has had huge support worldwide from artists like Eddie Halliwell, Ricky Stone, Dj Lou Lou, Tori Mac, Kate Lawler.Twisted AudioNow in 2007, Chris has teamed up with a lovely female Dj/Producer from Wigan called Steff Smith and our collaboration name is "Twisted Audio". In April this year we will be working in the studio for the first time together, writing some quality Hard House tracks and we’re also going to do a demo set for you all which will be free to download and with a DJM-800, CDJ 1000’s and Ableton Live it looks like its going to be mental in the hardest of ways:-) Look out for our myspace page which will be available soon.Digital MafiaLast year when i was promoting "Too Spicy" i got in contact with a lovely young Dj/Producer from Australia called Dj Lou Lou who is one of Australia’s most talented, up and coming Dj’s & Producers. After a few months of chatting to her about music, etc we decided to start a collaboration that would specialize in Dirty Electro, Jacking House and also Dubstep. Now in March 2008 we have finished our first track under our new collaboration name of "Digital Mafia" which is a nice, cheeky little Electro tune called "Double Release" and is now available on my myspace player and also Lou Lou’s myspace. Look out for more information and the latest releases from us both:-)Aquilaganja & Kit MasonKit Mason is the talented Dj/Producer from Harrogate, North Yorkshire who has been my mixing and producing partner for many years now. Kit has always been the better mixer but has now started producing also. Since he started producing i have remixed one of his tracks called "R U Ready" which is a nice little Electro track. In February we were in the studio writing a track called "Dot.Com" which is a Bassline Electro tracks will be in my myspace player very soon:-)Aquilaganja is definitely a name to look out for in the near future and you can be sure - no matter what the style is - it will be of the highest quality.
