My name is Denise Destini and Im the founder of Phuturehype. Phuturehype is a female mc/rapping project that has been going for a couple of years. The aim of the project is to help raise the profile of up and coming female rappers in the UK and show that girls can rap.

Since starting the competition in 2003, there have been some major highlights. These include:Phuturehype being featured on the first series of the T4/Channel 4 documentary "Chancers" (2004).

Phuturehype being featured in New Nation, BBC Radio 1 Music website and Dazed and Confused magazine

Former finalist Nchyx winnning the 1xtra 16 bar mic competition

Former finalist VDoubleE being featured on the T4/Channel 4 documenatry "Musicool"(2007)

I want to build the Phuturehype brand, eventually taking it globally. I hope you follow me on my journey.
