About Me

I'm a different cookie to the rest in the jar. I'm a half Welsh, half Irish twenty something living in Dublin and loving it!
I'm a journalist based in Dublin and have had work published in newspapers including the Sunday Times and magazines all over the world.I was lucky enough to interview some of my favourite artists including Common, Dead Prez, Angie Stone, Ice T and the best British artists out there. I also write in Welsh for magazines and websites.
For a few years I had my own online magazine called AFUNK MAGAZINE , a 100% British magazine focusing on black British music. I also have a little PR company called AFunk PR and have worked with a few British artists (FOR MORE INFORMATION GO TO AFUNK PR ).
I come from the most beautiful part of the world - Snowdonia and enjoy being outdoors, particularly near the sea.
I love to travel and have lived in Tanzania, America and the UK as well as visiting a few other spots.
****************************
Sefydlwyd y cylchgrawn AFUNK , gan Angharad Williams yn ôl yn 2003 gyda chymorth y dylunydd gwefannau, Gerwyn Knight. Ar ddiwrnod glawog, mewn cegin yng Ngogledd Cymru, penderfynodd y ddau greu safle i arddangos gwaith Angharad fel newyddiadurwr cerdd. Dechreuodd y cyhoedd ymweld â’r safle ac yn fuan iawn daeth ceisiadau gan artistiaid i gael eu harddangos.Ar y dechrau roedd ‘Afunk’ yn arddangos artistiaid led y byd, ond yn fuan roedd y safle yn gorlifo gyda cheisiadau gan artistiaid yn dymuno cael eu harddangos. Yna, penderfynodd tîm ‘Afunk’ y dylai’r cylchgrawn fod yn bwynt ffocws ar gyfer talent o’r Deyrnas Unedig.Ers hynny, mae’r cylchgrawn wedi bod yn sylfaen i gerddoriaeth ddu, Prydeinig, ac mae wedi cael dilyniant dros y byd, ac wedi creu cynghrair byd eang. Mae llawer iawn o gylchgronau yn canolbwyntio ar y talent sy’n bodoli yn ninasoedd mewnol y Deyrnas Unedig, ond mae ‘Afunk’ yn cynnwys erthyglau am artistiaid o’r Alban, Cymru ynghyd â Thwrci, Cyprys a Nigeria.
