to the new Reckless Hearts. Reckless Hearts was originally formed in summer of 1987 by three musicians Faz, Adnan and Yan, of the RSN (Republic of Singapore Navy). Once without a name, the band used to play "Reckless" by Bryan Adams and songs by the band Heart, which were most popular with the audience in that era. Eventually the band was dubbed Reckless Hearts by its own audience and the name stayed eversince. Reckless Hearts was disbanded when its members went on life's separate ways.
Today, the same Reckless Hearts is being revived by one of its three original founders, Faz.
Reckless Hearts was and still is a show band. The band's main objective is to entertain. Though its key musician, Faz, compose originals, Reckless Hearts do not play them for the night scene except by request of those who know the band well.
Children of the World, Faz's composition from the lyrics of tantotempo , was initially dedicated for Sea Bed Sound to commemorate World Aids Day 2006. As Sea Bed Sound is a funk band, this song is now performed by Reckless Hearts. This song is sung by the composer himself, Faz. The voice you hear in the chorus is that of tantotempo .
