On August 1990 while Chios Island was suffering from totally Greek & boring sounds in its FM band, a well organized "Piracy" appeared.
The Frequency of 92.7 MHz had its own code name: "CHIOS PIRATE FM". A Situation which started with force & faith. In the beginning the style was hard because of the domination of Hard Rock & Heavy Metal. But things changed & Pirate FM turned its tempo to House, Euro, Pop, Trance, Jungle, Goa, Happy Hardcore & many more branches of Electronic music. The DJs' Line UP is wide & ready to give you a completely different music world with happy style. Many 'Decks' of the island's Clubs suffer from the Line UP of our station. The effort continues so in 1995 we brought Kiss FM from Athens live on your radios.
In 1998 the style of the station ties to follow all the new tensions of Dance music scene, in our new frequency 90.9. In 1999 Pirate FM Broadcasts over the NET via Pirate FM's HomePage
In 2000 we still lead the Dance scene in Chios Island and Pirate FM's homepage is updated for second time.
In the beginning of 2002 we came to you with a new Piracy: The brand new Pirate FM's Homepage ready to sale and the new bug free frequency 91.0 FM
In 2003 Pirate is loud and clear in the most places in Chios island, our new homepage gained the trust of our old and new friends and many magnificent people in the Pirate team are ready to contact you through http://www.piratefm.gr.We promise to continue being next to you broadcasting for the good of your ears.
