MySpace LayoutsKlinik is Andrew and Marianna born in the beginning of 80s, in Athens. They started djing together a couple of months after meeting each other in the opening night of Umatic club, in 1999. It was the time when producers and DJs like Terence Fixmer, Miss Kittin, Surgeon and Luke Slater were still rising up abroad. Klinik by being unable to access this sort of music in Greece, they soon found themselves practising the DJ art, referred to labels such as Tresor, Novamute, and Gigolo etc.Their first appearance in the Athenian club scene was in June 2004, at Club22; booked by DJ Gregory, Klinik performed alongside with the German DJ and producer Ascii Disco. Very soon,they formed a team with DJ Gregory and for one year, they were playing together.From May 2005, Klinik have started their own mobile party, booking international guests like Housemeister and Sammy Jo (Scissor Sisters).
So far,Klinik have played in clubs like Umatic, Club22, Venue, +soda, Luv, Danza and many others;and they have performed with international guest DJs such as Felix da Housecat, Miss Yetti, David Caretta, Mick Wills, Anja Schneider,Silversurfer and many more.Overall Klinik music is a combination of many different music styles ranging from minimal techno and house to electrotechno,rock or even electrofunk and breaks. Marianna's djing style is highlighted by electro, electro breaks and old school techno elements, whereas Andrew usually spins techno-electro and voodoo techno with acid elements and EBM influences. Klinik take pride in their music by researching audience attitudes towards their selected music tracks. They also collect their music materials by visiting several times per year Germany and UK ,keeping informed their audience to the latest quality producing sound.
