Wu Xian Yin (Infinite Sound) is a Singapore based Chinese rock band. Formed with only Alan on vocals / guitar, Tas on lead guitar and Chris on drums, the line up was finalized on 14th January 2006 when bassist Jimz was officially recruited into the band. The band performed their first gig on the 5th of Feb 2006, at Hougang Mall Celebration Club for the "Chinese New Year 2006 Gig". However, after a few weeks, guitarist Tas decided to leave the band and was quickly replaced by a good friend of Alan, Dino. After a few jam sessions in early April, the band decided to participate in Singapore Street Festival 2006. In the midst of preparation for Singapore Street Festival, drummer Chris decided to leave the band due to his frequent traveling job. The drummer position was later filled by Jimz ex drummer, Taku, on 15th April 2006. Taku blended really well with the band and Infinite Sound now has the strongest line-up ever. With majority of it's members coming from different bands with different musical styles and background. Wu Xian Yin (Infinite Sound) does not restrict themselves to only one musical style or genre. They intend to experiment and fuse their influences together, hoping to blend it into their original compositions with brighter textures and colors as the band name suggest, Infinite Sound. To Infinity and Beyond!
