About Me

Yes, it's true.
I really did write Punk Like Me , then discovered there was more...lots more...hence? Punk And Zen got written.
And then, who knew? There was more to say, so... Red Light .
You can pretty much find them on the links under the titles, or anywhere, really (though sometimes you do have to ask a salesperson to order them - bummer, yeah, but at least it'll get to you, right?).
You've probably guessed by now that this writing thing has become a habit, but sometimes, you've got to go back to the beginning, and American Goth is the story that really kick-started my writing brain. Funny, because that one hit the planet this January of 2008. And...X is coming, January 2009...Oh...you wanted to know about me? A'ight...
I'm JD Glass (yes, I really am "her") and I sing, play lead guitar (and occasionally bass) in the band called Life Underwater . Click on the name, and you can can listen to a few tunes ...
Still curious? All right, here's a few interviews that might answer some questions:
This one's from Queer Girl Talk and the interviewer did something really cool - there's a music player on the home page playing tunes from Punk And Zen. Also, she's an amazing artist, so poke about the pages a bit, 'kay?
This one, at Rebel Grrrl Word Press was done by one totally rockin' riot grrl and...this one was my "first": L-Word Literature . Really.
Anything else? Sure. I play well with others, but sometimes? I bite. You've been warned (smile).
Still have questions? You want to know "why?" Here goes...
Do or die |You'll never make me| Because the world | Will never take my heart | Go and try | You'll never break me | We want it all | We want to play this part
I won't explain| Or say I'm sorry | I'm unashamed | I'm gonna show my scar | Give a cheer | For all the broken | Listen here | Because it's who we are
We'll carry on.
