I've been writing songs for as long as I can remember.
My Mom and Dad exposed me to the great rock 'n roll and country music of the '50s and '60s before I was old enough to talk. At five years old, I think I knew the entire Hank Williams catalog. I became a teenager in the mid '70s, when Jim Croce, The Eagles, Jackson Browne and many others were creating some of the best music of that generation - music that would form the roots of today's contemporary country music. The rock and country rock of that era had a tremendous influence on me - it inspired me to write and I've never stopped.
Today, I'm grateful to be in Nashville about once a month to write with some of the most talented people in town. Hope you hear something you like.
