When you hear his voice on a track, you never have to ask "who is that?" With one of the most recognizable voices in today's R&B music, G has stepped outside of cookie-cutter R&B and makes a statement with his solo release "The Other Side," which has already received accolades after its expansion release in the UK.
With each track having it's own signature and personality, all 15 songs on the new release exhibit true musicianship, a talent that G has pushed to the forefront, earning worldwide acclaim with music fans and earning the genuine respect of his peers.
Since resigning from R&B group Silk in 2002, G has spent quality time writing and producing, fine-tuning his vocal talents and musicianship. "The Other Side" represents real music from this well-rounded, multi-talented artist.
In addition to his music career, G has appeared in numerous stage play and television productions including Tyler Perry's "Madea's Family Reunion".
G is currently a member of the newly formed mega-group, Blayse , along with fellow R&B veterans Marc Nelson and Tony Grant [Az Yet] and Terrell Phillips [Blackstreet].
