From out the shadows of an industry full of talent, drive, and creativity, an artist with the charisma and persona of some of his greatest predecessors stands tall. He has earned the right to be called an Artist with his undeniable sound that reaches out and speaks to your soul. There’s no wonder why his name is “Psychè of Sound.â€
Born and raised in Ambler, Pa Psychè grew up in a household that exposed him to a wide range of music. His Mother, Kim, would play john Cougar Melloncamp, Rod Stewart, and Bruce Springsteen records, His Dad, Clarence, would jam off of Rick James, Cool and the Gang and P-Funk, while his brother, Jonathan, would vibe on Run DMC, KRS 1, and Ice Cube (N.W.A). Not once did they realize that they were actually training the ear and mind of Psychè at a young age. Like a sponge he absorbed every aspect of his learning’s and by the age of 8 had formed his own Rap group while organizing shows and rehearsals. By the age of 14 his dancing rap quartet gained a great bit of press in the Philadelphia area and even received radio play. While in high school he was a rapper respected by his peers as well as the lead singer of a popular grunge rock band. Always a word-smith, Psychè has always shared his emotions through his lyrics and music. But it was after high school when he found his true gift. While attending Seton Hall University and no longer part of a group, Psychè could finally experiment and began to create the sounds he had always envisioned. Here is when he began playing instruments and putting on elaborate stage shows. This was the true birth of the man who is now known as Psyche of Sound.
Songwriter-Producer Psychè of sound is an electrifying entertainer, one that can be seen playing multiple instruments in the studio and on the stage. Although he plays the guitar, bass and keys, he can usually be seen on stage with his Unique and rare instrument called the “Zendrum†(www.zendrum.com) . Often compared to the likes of Icons such as Prince and Michael Jackson, Psyche’s work ethic and life-long dedication to his art express the true passion for his music. But If there was any one artist that could combine to two best it would be Psychè. His stage show has elements of dance and spontaneous excitement, along with sex-appeal and musicianship. He is truly the soul, mind, and body of sound and the beholder of the key that will spearhead the musical revolution.
