About Me

I’ve written and recorded a new song called "The Wreckers Prayer" which is available for free download here on mySpace, Sellaband and Last.fmIt’s a simple tune with a straightforward production, just one voice and guitar, plus a little bit of spanish guitar to add depth. Nothing as complex as Gernika, but I hope you like it.illustration is from Dave’s Art Project - The Wreckers
"Gernika" at 8:35 mins is too big for uploading as one song to MySpace but you can read all about the background to the song including lyrics and chords and download the 12Mb song from DARnet
Musical CV:
New Folk Cottage, Truro. Paris Metro, St Germain. Mines not Missiles, Dover. Splinters, London.

London Theatre Breaks - Home Rent has finally arrived in London just in time to cheer up winter London theatre breaks and maybe bring in a whole new audience . Denise Van Outen plays Mimi in the London revival of Rent. London Theatre Breaks - Home t’s not often that TV series make the transition from small screen to the stage but Bad Girls is almost unique having made the leap from TV drama to London theatre! Breaks to the West End musical can be booked for dates from now until March 2008. London Theatre Breaks at Hackney Empire An interesting suggestion to head East for London Theatre Breaks at Hackney Empire London Theatre Breaks: Theatre Breaks to LondonWhat’s the best form of transport to book for theatre breaks to London?I’ll try and outline some pros and cons for the main options which are rail, coach and self drive. London Weekend Breaks - Spamalot Spamalot the theatre show is very loosely based on Monty Python and the Holy Grail and that in turn is even more loosely based on the stories of King Arthur and Camelot. The name Spamalot comes from one of the lines in a song: "we eat ham, and jam and Spam a lot." which, just in case you hadn’t noticed, rhymes with Camelot. londontheatrebreaks.blogr.com - stories You can spin out your theatre breaks in London by adding some extra cultural entertainment without increasing the bill. There are plenty of free events if you look for them, and in this article I’m showcasing the Foyer music at London’s National Theatre on the SouthBank. londontheatrebreaks.blogr.com - stories - 87421Free music in the Foyer at the London National Theatre londontheatrebreaks: General invitation to post reviews after London Theatre Breaks Theatre Breaks in London how to see more than one show Theatre Breaks in London Pre- Christmas theatre breaks in London can become a bit of a family tradition. You just have to find the right thing to go and see. This is the last chance to see the current West End production of Mary Poppins Theatre Breaks in London - Hairspray I think this one would be great for a ’girls’ (who are we kidding?!) weekend, a relaxing train ride down, hit the London shops, and a great, girly night out, hopefully with less of a hangover than the last one! I really prefer to book a whole package when I’m organising London theatre breaks like this because it just makes life so much easier and it’s often cheaper too! Theatre Breaks in London - Is Shakespeare’s Globe a Fake?I set out to explore just what is good and not so good about this "Shakespearian Experience". Theatre Breaks in London - London Weekend Breaks What to see this winter. There are lots of fun things to choose from when you are planning London weekend breaks. Theatre Breaks in London - Lord of the Rings - the musical? Synopsis and personal memories relating to Lord of the Rings, the London Theatre version as a possible target for theatre breaks in London Theatre Breaks in London - Theatre Breaks in London - Chicago - BlogHoster Chicago is the longest running Broadway musical on the West End. In London it has played to an audience of over 4.5 million people and more than 4,000 performances. Theatre Breaks in London - Theatre Breaks in London - Mamma Mia An ideal for choice for theatre breaks in London is an evening of the nostalgic music of Abba combined with the story of one woman’s journey to find her father the night before her own wedding. The secret I believe is to get away as early as possible on the Friday. Just before lunch would be a good idea, then get down to the station, hop on an inter-city express and arrive in Kings Cross mid afternoon.
