About Me

Hi, My name is Doug, and me and my awesome friend Maria have started this band. Half-Mast, we're called. We just started, so what do you really say, y'know?

Like any young band, we have dreams. Like, for example, we want to play on a boat, and we want the boat owner to be so moved by our performance that they give us the boat and then we live on the boat and then it sinks and then we find Atlantis and then we live in Atlantis. Also, we want a grizzly bear to play keyboards with us one time.
But, most of all, we want you to become rabid and obsessive about our band. We want you to talk unrelentingly about us to your brothers and your professors and your social workers until they're all just, like, "shut up already", and you want to, but you can't. You're just so super into it.
To facilitate this, we will begin writing and recording songs. Then we'll put them up here, and that's when you could come in with the insane, unfathomable dedication. Seriously, just try it on for size, see how it works out. We're not tyrants or anything.
Anyway, we're having fun playing music together, and we really want to play songs for you and hang out and periodically type garbage about ourselves on the internet. Come visit sometimes, and we'll do that together. We'll bring the snacks.
