Antonio Onorato, great guitarist and Neapolitan composer.
His works are based on the fusion between Afro-American language and Neapolitan melodic tradition, experimenting new musical forms and new sounds , as those obteined by his Breath Guitar (a breath-controller special guitar); creating a new kind of music, next to the world music, a sort of “Neapolitan jazz-rockâ€. In his career there are several cd: the last one is (Tudo Azul-2007).
His many concerts are all over the world and he played live with Pino Daniele, George Benson, Franco Cerri, James Senese, Toninho Horta, Mike Mainieri etc…
He wrote arrangements for TV and he played for Giancarlo Giannini, Noa, Roberto De Simone. He took part in many radio programmes and was many time the welcomed guest of Nick The Nighfly, the famous DJ both on Radio Capital and Radio Montecarlo.His new band:QUINTETAntonio Onorato guitars & breath guitar

Antonio Onorato, grande chitarrista e compositore napoletano. è da sempre impegnato nella fusione del linguaggio tipicamente afro-americano con quello della tradizione melodica della sua città (Napoli), sperimentando nuove forme musicali e nuovi suoni, come quelli ottenuti dalla Breath Guitar (una speciale chitarra con controllo a fiato), e dando vita ad un nuovo genere musicale,molto vicino alla world music,una sorta di " jazz-rock napoletano". Ha all'attivo numerosi cd, l'ultimo dei quali (Tudo Azul - 2007). Intensa la sua attività concertistica in tutto il mondo. Dal vivo ha già diviso il palco con Pino Daniele, George Benson, Franco Cerri, James Senese, Toninho Horta, Mike Mainieri etc.... In tv ha eseguito arrangiamenti ed ha suonato per Giancarlo Giannini, Noa e Roberto De Simone, in radio Ë stato piu' volte ospite di Nick The Nightfly su Radio Capital e Radio Montecarlo Nights.
