About Me

I have been married for over 25 years & have 2 grown sons.My oldest son has 2 sons and a daughter. My youngest son has a daughter.I have worked for the Federal Government for over 25 years. Since Sep 2002, I have been my mother's caretaker. She had a stroke which left her paralyzed on one side, unable to walk, and in need of 24 hour care. She is in a nearby nursing home (her choice) but I still take care of her needs such as washing her dirty laundry, cleaning her room, & taking her out to doctor's appointments, etc. I am at the home so much that the staff and residents consider me more of a volunteer than a family member. With my 2 brothers living elsewhere, 1 in Texas and 1 in Florida, they are unable to help with my mother's needs.I am a Eucharistic Minister for my church (St. John's). My ministry duties are for the residents at my mother's nursing home.At this time, my household consists of 4 dogs (2 Cockers, a Staffordshire Terrior & a Minature Dachshound), 3 birds (a Cockatiel, a Parakeet, & a Finch), and a female Betafish (newest edition). Our waterfront home has many different wildlife which I enjoy watching (ducks, geese, foxes, raccoons, squirrels, birds & even seaturtles). I hate fall and winter because of all the leaves in my yard. Our waterside has over 35 trees (mainly Oak & Maple). Since our home is on a cove, and we get a strong wind throughout the winter months, the waterside leaves do not get picked up until late spring.I have an interest in the paranormal. My interest goes all the way back to my earliest memories in childhood. I had a "Boogeyman" that was a part of my life. In a Darkness Radio event we attended last year, Rosemary Guilley showed a picture of my "Boogeyman".In the 1980's, my husband joined MUFON & was a UFO investigator for Central Maryland. He assisted Bruce Maccabee and Bob Ochsler on the Ed Walters case in Gulf Breeze, FL during the late 1980's and early 1990's. I assisted my husband and handled the documentation & research for the cases here in Maryland. Lots of times, I went out on his investigations. Since I love to read & can retain a lot of information of what I read or see, I have been an asset on many of his cases.Due to personal events in our life in the mid 1990's, we drifted away from this field. Now that the children are grown and have moved out, we are interested in getting back into it. Since last year, we have attended several Paranormal events hosted by Darkness Radio (such as Eastern State Penitentuary, Stanley Hotel, & the Queen Mary (2x). My husband went to the Palmer hotel & took my son with him when he went to Waverly Sanitarium. Our most recent ghost hunt was at the Presidio & Alcatraz [where we actually stayed overnight & slept in D Block]. We've gotten EVP's at each of these sites plus some video anomalies at a couple of these (Waverly, Stanley & Alcatraz). For Christmas, I was given my own digital voice recorder & EMF meter to our already growing arsenal of equipment such as his thermal camera, 2 video cameras with different scopes, and K2 meter. In addition, my husband gave me several books in this field. I'm hoping we can go to Gettysburg this year.
