Movies:

Such a blog really wont do justice to the passion with which I feel for certain films. Yes, most are rubbish but occasionally one comes along that resonates such power, it can alter the course of your life.. just like a book can! Something like.. The Griswalds Family Vacation. :) My fav pic is 'The Passenger'. WOW! If you aint seen it then you are in for a treat. What are you waiting for?? Go get it!! Gotta mention Straw Dogs. Ah.. Sam Pekinpah! Such a love of violence in his films, but he does it so so well. See also the Magnificent Seven. The Searchers.. Not only one of John Waynes best films, but also arguably the best film from the legendary director John Ford. I adore a good western.. Rio Bravo also rates very high! I woke late one night, aged 13, and 'Sophies Choice' came on TV. I fell in love with cinema that night. I could go on and on about so many more but alas.. I don't wish to bore. So I'll just write down the titles of others I love.. let me know if you agree? Shawshank Redemption. The Ice Storm. Boogie Nights. The Goonies. Happiness. Fight Club. The Godfather pt1 and 2. Lost Highway. Pulp Fiction. Blue Velvet. Eternal Sunshine. Frankie and Johnnie. The Natural... Am a sucker for deadbeat comes good stories. Love a good Bio-Pic too! Like Walk the line.. La Vie en Rose.. Amadeus.. etc... Many films by the following... Lynch. Coen Bros. Most Hitchcock! Not all.. (Rear Window, Vertigo and Rebecca are Favs)! And the winners in my fav directors category.. M. Antonioni. Cronenberg. Lynch. Fellini. Scorcese. Wenders. Milos Foreman. Clint "the man" Eastwood. Egoyen. Fincher. Wes Anderson.
