About Me

This page is dedicated to "Teamdrink" , which is our screen name we use to share our live music. We share a lot of our Leftover Salmon & Great American Taxi recordings. Most of it is shared at www.bt.etree.org or www.archive.org. After Jerry died, I didn't think there would ever be a band that could provide me with that kind of unbelievable live music expierence. That was until I discovered Leftover Salmon. Since then I have been to over 200 Leftover shows. I am grateful to the band for having allowed me to tape most of those shows I attended. From those years on the road, I have learned so much about bluegrass music. Leftover opened up many doors for me when it comes to music. I agree with Dave Johnston from YMSB when he said that Mark Vann was the first banjo he ever heard & liked. Since then I bought a banjo & am currently trying to learn to play. I have made so many friends through the music scene and I have discovered so many other incrediable musicians. I have also been lucky enough to meet some of the great along the way such as Sam Bush, Peter Rowan, Del McCoury, John Cowan. In 2004 when Leftover took a hiatus, we decided to start going through our old tapes. We began to transfer all of our music off of DAT tape & preserve it in the lossless FLAC format. We began sharing them with many appreciative fans on etree & through the mail. It has been unbeliable the amount of thanks and appreciation we received, exspecailly while the band was taking a break from touring. We also began to share a lot of other music, expecially Great American Taxi recordings. Since then we have had so many other people contact us who want to share their collection of LoS music. If anyone has any music they would like to trade, just drop us an email. You can check out some of our video's at: http://www.youtube.com/teamdrink1 - Besides that we are on the road entirely way too much. If you are having half as much fun as us, then we're having twice as much fun as you!!!
