About Me

David Clement was working hard as a lithographer in New York's art world until Liz Phair persuaded him to go public with his music. Phair and Clement had grown up together, and Liz knew that David had been writing songs since he was a pre-schooler.

His first self-produced CD got chosen as an "editor's pick" by Billboard. Since then, David has had contracts with two major labels, fronted multiple band configurations, his music has been featured on a couple of the WB's finer shows, and played on college radio stations across the country. Clement is currently recording and playing his poppy guitar based rock and singing his wryly poetic lyrics at clubs and theaters around NYC, and anywhere else he can.
