Welcome to CA records A&R Page!
CA Records is an independent record label with distribution throughout Europe and Asia. The first step is, that we are offering artists and bands the unique chance to present themselves to new audiences and potential fans in Europe as well as Asia by putting out a Compilation Series entitled "The Hottest New Bands on MySpace". The Band/Artist has the opportunity to place up to 2 tracks on this compilation in order to promote their music. Also, there will be a place for your MySpace link in the CD booklet as well, so you can direct the potential fans to your page.
Out of the submitted tracks, CA Records will pick 40 artists to be part of the compilation. Our A&R dept. will listen to each song submitted and will then recommend the strongest tracks for release. If we find a real promising Band/Artist, there is a realistic chance we might contact you for further releases or sign you to the label.
If your track is picked by our A&R dept. you will have to pay a placing fee of US$ 100,- to be put on the compilation. In return you will receive a 20% royalty on all compilation units sold, so you have a chance to recoup your fee. The fee is necessary in order to filter the serious bands out of the many entries.
