Xclusive was born in Brooklyn, Bedstuy, New York. He went to school at Boys and Girls High School in New York and then moved to North Carolina and attended Whiteville High School. His musical influences include Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap and the other greats. Being from Bedstuy he also looks up to the Notorious BIG, Jay Z and Foxy Brown. He started rapping around the age of 8 when he remembers seeing his sister writing the lyrics to Salt and Pepper. He remembers watching his Uncle Reggie spitting rhymes and thinking how crazy it was. He remembered everything he said and told people he wrote it all until he got caught around the age of 10. He started producing beats using MTV Generator, Now Reason and Fruity Loops. So far he has completed three group albums with his old team: P.O.W., one solo album under the Last of My Breed, three mixtape appearances with DJ Battle from Coast 97.3 and Battlesound Entertainment and P-Money from 92.3 the Beat. Two of his songs have been showcased on Coast 97.3’s Local Limelight Show. He has performed in numerous shows here in Wilmington and for M.O.P.’s album release party in New York City. Xclusive feels the music he creates reached all spectrums. North, South, East and West. His versatility is what will keep him in the game. His style and delivery set him apart from other artists that are already out there. His goal as an artist is to make music and later branch off in the business world by making movies, designing clothes and jewerly. He still says that music is his first love. He hopes to be at the top of his game in two years with his own company and artists on his label. Russell Simmons is someone he would consider a mentor. X thinks that he brings a great deal of potential to the group because of his versatility and energy that he exudes when he performs.
