The Man

Booyaka!

About Me

I'm keepin' you down.

Who am I? Charlie Brown, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Will Ferrell and Lewis Black rolled up into an enraged, fat, balding guy.

Check out my older page ( hesays.blogspot.com ) for really old posts, and you'll see the evolution of my rancor.

Oh, and by the way, a stupid beagle could have created this profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM .

I'd like to meet:

Geeks, super-geeks, uber-geeks.

American patriots who don't always agree with my point of view. Jingoists need not apply; just 'cause I wrap myself in the flag doesn't mean I'm not willing to wipe my ass with it, too. As Susan Jacoby (author of THE AGE OF AMERICAN UNREASON) said recently on Bill Moyers Journal: "In the 19th century Robert Ingersoll ... who is known as the great agnostic, had audiences full of people who didn't agree with him. But they wanted to hear what he had to say ... And now what we have is a situation in which people go to hear people they already agree with. What's going on is not so much education as reinforcement of the opinions you already have."

And I wouldn't mind getting to know myself a little better.

Speaking of bacon ... dumbass ... I must be off-white - NOW WITH PICTURES!

The Elder Son has absolutely no concept of just how crushing a blow it is that his mother can no longer eat bacon, so he has been referencing bacon at least once every other day since h...

It was the bacon what done it. (The Wifes account of her recent heart attack)

Or maybe the smoking.  Or maybe the crack Mac 'n Cheese.  Probably the smoking.  On the night of Wednesday the 6th, morning of Thursday, at about 1:00am, I had a heart attack. I'm trap...

So I kind of went overboard commenting on a bulletin today. *UPDATED*

I originally posted this Monday 1/15/08, and have added more back and forth down at the end.  I may have gone off on some tangents, but so many things about this issue are related to other issues...
