Alfi Martins has been involved in music since his early years. While been classically trained he soon changed the piano for a sinthesizer and form a band with his school pals. Some years later Charly Garcia, known in Latin America as the "Father of Latin Rock", asked him to join his new band. He toured many times all over South and Central America with an average audience of 30,000 and performed in a memorable show at the NY Ritz. In 1988 he performed at the Amnesty International Festival, sharing the stage with Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel, Sting and Tracy Chapman among others in front of an audience of 90,000 plus worldwide live broadcast. In 1990 he decided to move to New York where he was an On camera host for MTV's "ROCK MTV" program, also composing and producing the theme for the show. He formed his own band called " Angel 777 " and performed throughout NYC hottest clubs like Limelight, The Bank, Pyramid and Nell's among others. In 1996 Alfi moved to Miami Beach and continued performing this time with his Band called Council of the Sun which would become the Best Voted Electronic Live Act for two consecutive years in the New Times polls. He co-wrote and recorded their debut album " Six Degrees of Culture". In October 2005 Mr. Martins relocated in LA. He has recently released the remix "Pink Floyd vs. Afrika Baby Bam" feat. Afrika Baby Bam from the Jungle Brothers throughout Europe under the label " Foot Fetish" and has just finished producing a Remix album for Kosmic Records and performing throughout the West Coast with his band Orgasmical, co-producing his songs with legendary producer John X.
