About Me

Kristi Bride wrote her first song at the age of two and a half called "Too many moons in the sky" for her 91 year-old Grandma. With over 300 poems to her credit she is a soul who taps into the human consciousness on both an intimate and a global level. She often brings fresh insight into the interactions of people, nature, and spirit. Transcending mass media and societal norms/views that, in her opinion, are no longer valid in the new millennium is a common theme in her poetry and music.
Kristi is currently working on her debut album and was chosen from over 400 bands to play the Rock the Future Off the Grid Festival, August 17th in Eugene, Oregon. She is doing a grassroots tour up the west coast as a warm up for her incredible four year global World Energy Tour (see band website link)! Dates and venues TBA soon!
You can catch her spoken word poetry on the song "Trainjumping" that is part of a compilation CD "Live From Nowhere Near You". She shares the bill with some of her favorite artists: director Gus Van Sant, Mike Mc Cready and Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam, Brad Hargraves from Third Eye Blind, and many others.
Kristi's spoken word/poetry is also on the song "Omnibus "which is part of the film soundtrack "Suicide Regimen".
