I am not a big fan of fiction, I mostly read books on historical events (If they are well documented and researched), psychology, law, anthropology, mechanical guides and texts, true crime books, strange comics and zines, Art books of all types, military history, ANY autobiography, LONG list of EXCELLENT AUTOBIO'S here: Miles Davis, Willie Nelson, Timothy Leary, Malcolm X, Monster (1980's L.A. gang leader), Jack Henry Abbott (In the Belly Of The Beast), Mein Kampf (Yes it was written by Hitler, but nonetheless compelling and insightful), Any Johnny Cash Bio (He has written 3 that I know of), Sonny Barger, Ted Nugent (Weird, but good book), Etc... Of the Fiction I do like, I've read everything by: Mark Twain, Edgar Allen Poe, Charles Bukowski (some is autobio too), Kurt Vonnegut, Ayn Rand, Ernest Hemmingway, Norman Mailer, William S. Burroughs, William Faulkner, Carlos Casteneda, Jack Kerouac, J.G. Ballard, and otherbeats, freaks, and very few lit geeks. I read newspapers and magazines VORACIOUSLY and have a good trivia memory because of this (DO NOT WAGER AGAINST ME... I will win!)
