This defines who the Lost Soles are.The Lost Soles Foundation.• This is a foundation driven by the interests and passions of Tami Hotard and the efforts of thelostsoles volunteers comprised of GCCC college students. • We want to learn about and encourage giving. • Giving is the soul of our world. Without giving, we would destroy it. • Giving to others has great potential to improve the quality of lives around the world. • We are funders, shapers and movers, and we don’t rely on others to act and implement. • We want to feed the souls of the people of Darfur by our actions, one set of feet at a time. • We want to transform the world and influence others to get involved due to our conscious efforts to help the people of Darfur. • We want to put out to the universe pure, positive and power-free energy. • Our focus and strategy are clear and specific: prioritizing people of Darfur. • We aspire to be sole providers for cleansing their souls. • We want to infuse hope and focus on infusing hope while remaining humble and mindful of our actions and words. • We hope to generate faith. • Once there’s faith, then we can produce change. • These changes will result in healing hurts and saving lives. • As a result, we’ll re-build the good-natured character of the world. • We plan to be a driving force who are connected to the people of Darfur who are suffering from systematic murdering of their race. • We recognize our interconnectedness. They need us to help them overcome genocidal adversity and we need them to cleanse our minds. • We seek and heed the counsel of outside voices. • We treat our commercial donors as valued partners, and we treat the ultimate beneficiaries of our work with respect. • We share information about the results of our work. • We demand ethical behavior of ourselves. • We treat each other as valued humans, respected colleagues. • The Lost Soles mission to return security in Darfur region requires great commitment and stewardship. • We recognize we must regularly “community” in order to accomplish our goals. • We make space for growth and change. • We encourage each other to stay motivated.LOST SOLES PROJECT PLANOur plan is this: We collect shoes year around then ship them to the refugee camps of Darfur, the region in the Sudan where African farmers are under daily attack by the Arab-militia, Janjaweeds, four times a year. Our ship dates are December 15th, March 15th, June 15th, and September 15th of each calendar year.Our central storage facility is located in Panama City Beach, Florida. Our mailing address is P.O. Our bins at nationwide Sole Provider locations collect lost soles for us. A Sole Provider is an individual, organization, church, school, company who collect shoes for our use. Be one now. Email [email protected] ROLES OF THE LOST SOLESA Lost Sole herself, Tami Hotard, MA, President and Founder of The Lost Soles Foundation, engaged the movement of this vision. She now guides the Lost Soles international peace mission and is in charge of the logistics of getting the shoes to Darfur and to their new owners.The individual student volunteer will manage the collection of all lost soles from their Sole Provider locations where the bins are collecting shoes and deliver all lost soles to The Lost Soles storage headquarters once they collect them. The student volunteers provide weekly updates at LSF’s group meeting open to the public.
