Black Carnation are three musicians based in Glasgow making very unique, distinctive music. The band are made up of Adam Dunwoodie on Drums, James Guibal on Guitar & Lead Vox & Dave Milne on Bass.
The new line-up and moniker sees Black Carnation take in a wider scope of influences marrying both light & dark to create dynamic, energetic music. Plenty of hooks, plenty of riffs and plenty of balls. From Nirvana to Jeff Buckley, through QOTSA and Radiohead, the music mixes a vast array of different styles and influences which, when all thrown together have produced something quite unique and instantly recognisable. They have been described as "dark, sexy and slightly unhinged" and "...a bloody orgy of Kurt Cobain, Jeff Buckley & Chris Cornell backed by the ghost of John Bonham on drums and basslines so solid you’d think they were cast in concrete". The band are quickly building a reputation as one of the best live acts playing in Glasgow or indeed the UK at the moment.
