jerome prister ,ricci paige ,kevin walker,darren steward,jeff bell and horace williams started a group called "SECRET WEAPON". Jerome was the lead singer, bassplayer, and writer of the song "MUST BE THE MUSIC", in the early 80's. After problems with the record company,PRELUDE RECORDS, the band broke up. Jerome and drummer Ricci paige then met David Reeves (guitar player and personal d.j. for Kurtis Blow), Lyonie James female vocalist, Tony McGlocklan keyboards and started a new group, "OUTPUT". along with horace williams on percussions
In 1985, Jerome wrote the song "SAY YOU'll BE' with the group Output. In 1987 the group disbanded. Jerome started his single artist career and recorded the album "NO BETTER LOVE", with band members Ralph Donowa, Jeff Bell and Ricci Paige. They all contributed to the album but felt it was rushed and not their best work. Later, in 1994, the song "SAY YOU'LL BE", became a big hit in Europe and parts of Africa. Jerome started traveling to France, England, Germany.and Marocco. Having hits like "MUST BE THE MUSIC" and 'SAY YOU'LL BE" keeps him busy performing and recording with French and arabic artists. working with D J abdel one of europe's great producers and writng the theme music for (Funky cops) the cartoon with him in paris france , writing the lyric's and singing (lovin right now) produced by junior jack and the conga squad in belgium and working with many artists in france,germany, usa , england and africa keep's him busy. He is presently working on his own album in france which will be released in early 2007
