..Chase Edwards aka Dave Clark, Jr, goal is to do it his way. His experiences in studios and live performing have made him a complete artist that can create and perform music with almost flawless execution. He studied voice and piano theory at the Milwaukee Conservatory of Music. Working in numerous studios throughout the Midwest, Chase has worked with 7 midwest independent labels producing or co-producing numerous artists in R&B, Jazz, Hip-hop, Rap, Rock, and Gospel. In that same time period he also released 4 independent projects of his own. In July 2003, Chase was a paid extra on the movie “Mr. 3000,†which starred Bernie Mac and Angela Bassett,Chase's sound has been described as soulful, smooth, and seductive, but he refers to it simply as R&B. What it really amounts to is a plethora of great songs crafted by a composer/artist/producer that puts a lot of thought into the structure and lyrical content of a product before claiming it as his.Through the years the road has not been easy, but through the disappointments and obstacles, which he used as opportunities to grow and learn, he has worked long and hard for his achievements and is still standing strong. From creating Clarkworks Publishing to D.C.J. Entertainment his multimedia production company, Chase Edward's is a True Survivor . . .D.C.J. Entertainment 2009 and forever . . .
