My mission:
To bring underground music from all over the world out of the box and show to everyone that was graced with God's gift of sound what beauty can be made out of mere dreams. I'm here to remind bands that it's their fans (like me) that allow them to keep going and to prosper in the music scene. To amaze someone everyday with YOUR music and art. I try my best to go to every local and national act that I can and YES I do travel an hour away (and sometimes 5) from my city every time I want to go to a show. And I've had my share of "favorite" bands be assholes to me so I know what to look for in a band with good qualities now to help make you the best out there. I've been to so many shows and have met so many amazing people and it's the things that YOU do that make living worth while. Thanks.
Some music is just worth listening to. Others, you just don't feel it. The passion for it just isn't there. I feel that music comes from a mixture of happiness, depression, and anger. If you really stop to think about it, everything you perform or sing, you do it with feeling. That's what makes it sound so heartfelt and good. It's not the quality of your equipment or the lack of time or practice. It's the passion and love for the things you do. Besides, who said you couldn't change one life with a line of song?
I wish I were more musically inclined, but the God honest truth is I've forgotten how to play, or want to play, any instrument. I'm not really inspired much anymore but recently, I have decided to write my novel and focus more on my photography.
