many a time i have been asked about my recording process...
"why is the quality vomit" is what they ask
i use a sony v-220 microphone plugged into the microphone port of my computer...
i stand the mic on a box of ritz crackers, which i position on the pull-out drawer for the computer keyboard, that's part of this desk
actually it's not ritz crackers, it's crisp'itz, stop and shop's generic ritz...
i used audacity to record
funfact: i bought the mic at the palisades in 2002for the "techno beats" i used fruityloops
obviously a moog plugin on "moogermission" (moog4.mp3)
i also used some kind of SID plugin for the drums on that track
i used peach and toad on "second castle"(nesbad.mp3)
the end.
update:
"moogermission" and "second castle" are now part of a medley called "is that real frostbite?"
it goes "i don't wear sandals"-moog-nes...
"i don't wear sandals" is a trance song i made in midi class in 45 mins...
the rest of the shit from that class is at deafendstupid
YES, the stand (stating the obvious) is an ORIGINAL.
