amIpop is a music community website run by musicians from Brighton in the UK. The website is FREE to join and offers its members some great features to build a website, add songs, pictures, gig dates, and to network with like minded people.
amIpop is not just for musicians, it is a place for anyone with a passion for music. The non-music folk can make new friends, chat, blog, send messages and listen to all the music on the site.
We have recently launched our own online radio station which many promoters, labels and managers now use to spot new talent. In addition to the online radio, we are launching our videocasting service in the early part of 2007. What this means is that anyone with a webcam can stream live events straight onto the site for everyone to see. You could for instance stream a band rehearsal, clubs could broadcast live events directly onto the site, or if you are one of the non-music members you could simply broadcast a live stream from your bedroom directly onto amIpop.
