FUNKY MOJODADDY

Some of the best musicians in the Northwest Indiana area, came together two years ago as the Jam Night Band at Leroy’s Hot Stuff, in Porter, Indiana. The band previously known as the Funky SwankDaddys are now called MojoDaddy. The group consists of Kenny Kinsey (bass/vocals), Nick Byrd (guitar/vocals), Jerry Porter (drums/vocals) and are joined by Jeff Massey (Slide guitar/vocals) and/or Corey Dennison (guitar/vocals).They have quickly gained a reputation for being one of the area’s top blues bands and rhythm section. All of this has led to them being on a regular rotation at some of the Region’s hottest live music venues and annual summer festivals.The band’s sound is a blend of Blues, Soul/Funk, and Roots Rock. These musician’s pride themselves on playing with heart and soul, creating an unstoppable energy. Their intense delivery of the music will have you up and dancing, and will make you feel like you’re at a packed Chicago Blues Club, or on a hot summer day at the Chicago Blues Fest.
