I'm super stoked to announce that the PIG HEART TRANSPLANT 'HOPE YOU ENJOY HEAVEN' cd on Sweatlung is just about to be unleashed. Having been in process for almost a year now the all the parts have hit the ground down under and are heading off to the pressing plant this week.
Pig Heart Transplant is a project headed by Jon Kortland ( Iron Lung / Gob) and on this release he is joined by a host of heavy hitters: August Alston ( Lords Of Light / Walls / Silentist ), Sanders Creasy ( Unpersons , Bite Itself ), Chris Dodge ( Despise You / Lack Of Interest / Spazz / Hellnation / East West Blast Test etc.), Dustin Ferris (Hounded Wounds), Mike Priehs (Threatener, Herds, Mutator, Broachfaced), Jensen Ward (Iron Lung / Artimus Pyle / Walls / Cold Sweat, Gehenna etc.), Greg Wilkinson ( Brainoil / Lana Dagales / Laudanum ).
Having released a bundle of tapes, CDrs and a split 7" with rumblers Blue Sabbath Black Cheer , PHT have proved themselves a force of dark noise. Sparse rumbles, sludge ridden guitar, raw growls and blunt force drums with nods to Man Is The Bastard and Swans .
The CD of Hope You Enjoy Heaven contains one exclusive track that is not on the LP version and a mastered version of "Crawling Through Hell" that appeared on the split w/BSBC.

Chris Smith Justin Fuller cd

Melbourne residents Chris Smith and Justin Fuller have been creating and documenting various forms of music together since the late 1990's.

Over seven years in the making, their new eponymous long-player takes in pre-occupations with austere, shimmering textures, maxist shuddering walls of noise, and many things between.

A broad and compelling approach in terms of sound-source and recording technique, any aspect suggesting theory or intellect is already overcome by brut physicality and lilting tear-jerkers.

Ian Wadley "three uneasy pieces"

Justice Yeldham "cicatrix"

Justice Yeldam is Lucas Abela's world famous glass to face noise project. Justice tours the world leaving a trail of broken glass, blood and damaged ears.

Cicatrix is the first full length outing from Justice Yeldham and is presented in four parts:

Part One: Studio - The first studio recordings of Lucas playing his pieces of glass.

Part Two: Digital Soundchecks - Recently recovered sound files from his one and only digital tour at the end of 2005, these tracks were recorded soundchecks that Lucas used to play back and eq.

Part Three: Live - Live recordings from Zurich, Sydney & Toronto.

Part Four: Video - The video that youtube rejected for inappropriate content filmed in Bologna, Italy.

The release comes packaged in a deluxe Dual Plover style pouch with a 24 page booklet of photos of Justice Yeldham performing around the globe.

Blarke Bayer / Bone Sheriff "split" cd

Blarke Bayer is the solo project of Ben Andrews who also plays guitar in Magnetics (see below), Agents Of Abhorrence and My Disco. This release finds him exploring a wall of drone subtle drifts and waves of noise.

Bone Sheriff is the drunken ramblings of Simon Taylor (Whitehorse / EOH / Malakat) and Rob Mayson (Grey Daturas / EOH / It's Is / Whitehorse etc). Fueled by a cocktail of ginger wine and sparkling ale BS shudder to life rattling bones and burning souls. An awesome follow up release to "Moonee Ponds" (Sabbatical).

Magnetics "We Are The Mountains, We Are The Fields"

Magnetics is the Melbourne duo of percussionist & vocalist Sarah Heyward (The Focus) and guitarist Ben Andrews (Blarke Bayer / Agents Of Abhorrence / My Disco).
