Don't be a Homophobic...Be A Phonophobic

About Me

"Don't Spread Chlamydia, Spread The Phonophobia"
The Phonophobics formed in September 2006, through other music projects and all hit it off instantly after our first session in the studio together and well the journey continues....:)
After writing our first few songs we realised how similar and different our music influences are, which is the reason for our variation in our own songs.
Early 2007 we recorded our own demo, using an 8 track and began to develop our tracks, promotion & start spreading The Phonophobia. Since this demo we have played many live gigs, including The Sundhouse in Bolton, were we supported the Clone Roses, Club Acadmeny and the Dry Bar, in Manchester.
We have also come on leaps and bounds, as a band and our sound, with our regular tracks is immensly tight, while we are currnently working on new material and aim to have some new tracks ready for our upcomming gigs, which you can view in our events listing.
As a band we feel we have acheived so much in our first year of being together, becomming a popular band in Bolton & developing our fan base in Manchester, we aim to further develop our path and take out music to the next level, as it is a major passion and commitment to each an everyone of The Phonophobics.
We would like to thank everyone who has suported us from day one, along the way and who is comming or has been to any of our gigs. Our aim is to entertain and please the crowd as much as possible, so we can both enjoy the lively atmosphere, from what we all enjoy doing
Keep tuned to the blogs, bulletins, and updates to our site, as The Phonophobics progress, explore and introduce ourselves to the music scene of the NorthWest and check out our offical website, currently under construction at...

Feel free to ask us questions, post comments etc, they will get replied to, as we are intrigued to know about you lot too! See you all really soon.
