Band Members: - the BEARDED singer and rhythm player. Fushy was brought to the band by Matt after being found STUMBLING around one night in Flares Warrington. After trading in a broken electro acoustic for a strange mustard coloured epiphone electric, Fush began to show his true flare. Not only is Fush our lead SINGER and rhythm he is also CHIEF DRINKER and can often be seen propping up bars around Warrington and Manchester area in the early hours of the morning. Fush is in a very similar vein to Egg and due to his vast CD collection does not want to be restrained by genre or style and this has allowed Paper Parachute to produce a new EP where each song takes its own UNIQUE style whilst still being instantly recognisable as a Paper Parachute track. Fush is generally a top bloke as not only is he in Paper Parachute but also like the Griffiths brothers a fellow wander (Bolton fan) the only improvement he could make would be to BURN his Salford shirt, but nobody is perfect!

- Rob or "G" as he is also known, is our lead guitarist. Rob is a GREAT asset to the band as rather than having his fingers SCUTTLE all over the guitar like a POISENED RAT, he actually plays decent melodies and riffs. Robert is a QUIET boy, but that doesn't mean he has nothing to say! Rob is an extremely talented guitarist and is constantly coming up with IDEAS that help move our music forward and take it away from sounding like WANNABE Oasis bands that we often see in our stinky little STY of a town. Rob lives with the FAIRIES and his boss Matt.

- the second of the Griffiths brothers and a founding member of the band. Matt is our bass player and BOSS. Originally a rhythm guitarist, Matt chose to move onto the BASS and proved himself to be more than competent and make up a great rhythm section along with Egg. Matt is also vital to PAPER PARACHUTE because he does most of the organising e.g. gigs, practises, recordings and often driving Fush home when he's leathered! The only problem with Matt is that sometimes he can't make pratice because he's so ashamed of Warrington Wolves latest superleague performance. Matt is the FUNNIEST member of the band as he often gets in a tizzy (matthew, matthew, matthew). Matt is the most fashionable member of the band often seen sporting a peedo MAC or perhaps a nice tight TANKTOP (only when we squeeze him in).

- Nathan or "Egg", is our DRUMMER. As many will tell you, you will not find a more RAW and talented drummer/musician than Nathan around these parts. Many bands would sound the same if they changed their drummer, whereas we wouldn't be the same without Egg because he brings his own sound to each new idea we come up with and also wants to make sure we are staying away from "the NORM". Also Egg has an ORGAN, GLOCKENSPIEL and UKULELE which have been worked into Parachute songs for a little more ZEST. Nathan can also be known for liking a few scoops before getting behind his kit at a gig. Nathan is angered by bad MANNERS! Unlike the other 'rabbits' in the band, Egg is USELESS at sports especially RUGBY.
Influences: Early influences come from Manchester's finest The Smiths. Our favourites include The Coral, The Divine Comedy, Kings Of Leon, Radiohead, Bloc Party. We also love Slugsatemyparents! If you come and watch us play you will know we feel that havin a laugh and seein everyone enjoy it as much as we do, is as important to us as the music itself. Some bands take themselves a bit too seriously and think that bein in a band is about walking round like your made of steel and swearing every other word. Personally we prefer to dress up in old peoples clothes and do other things which can't really be discussed on the internet. Being in a band is about havin a good banter with everyone, sinkin as many jars as possible and then persuading Matt to stop for some low quality meat on the way home!
