IT ALL STARTED 13 YEARS AGO, WHEN I WAS 13.....
At that time, around 1993, I’ve been attracted to deep frequencies, bass tones...and my brother bought a cheap bass (beautiful Samick) and decided to sell it after 3 months. So I was the one for that babybass! Then I took some private lessons and I learn a bit more in high school, but the songs were so boring. Sometimes, the music teacher authorized me to go play alone in a small local. Some compositions were born there, ah ah! Thank you Marcel!!!
Then around 1996, two young friends (Mat & Dom) and I started what would be "Mystic Source", my first real band ever. We jammed 50/50 original/cover. A lot of Hendrix, Sabbath, a bit of Metallica, LedZep, Beattles, Nirvana, Offenbach, Octobre... After 3 years, a little misunderstanding broke up the project. R.I.P. So I was still playing bass and me and Mat rented a Drumkit to jam in my bedroom, oh yeah baby! And he found a band in the newspaper looking for a drummer, so he asked the Band (Vibration9) if they need a bassman too, ’cus the drum was in my room....ah ah weird hein! So after auditioning me and Mat, they just kept me. So it’s been 8 years now I’m with V9. Thanks Mat! Nevermind Mat you’re a God on every instruments you touch dude! So after few years of jamming for shows, recording and listenning to a lot of different styles of zizic, I was accumulating songs in my head and wanted to do something with it, you know...
Then I don’t really remember how but I met a drummer called Belette and recalled an old friend Marc(vox/guitar). The first jam we had was just enlighting, we decided to form "Jviens". Translated as "I come"or / I’m coming". Euh? doublesense! Anyway, Jviens had a lot of potential but there was some tension sometime ’cus of alcohol. For 2 years I was playing guitar and bass in the project. Maybe something will be done with a few songs in the future. So the desintegration of Jviens led us, me and Belette, to form "QuantaJam". Faithful to ourselves, we integrated a lot of different styles into the process, in definition of quantum mechanic, an universe of possibilities awaits us! With that project, as with Jviens, we wanted to give us the chance to do anything we want, no boundary. That ’s why you may ear a reggea song, then a funk/rock followed by a more metal one. Obviously, the link with all those song is the vocal, but here again, some of our songs are french, but mostly are in english. So enjoy my work everyone!Wolf is Loose
